wanna make it disappear? you can when your sleeping.
each morning's memories commandeered, autonomy fleeting.
i go back and read the lines
blueprints of all the things i did
and you?
you reminisce about the time
we said the things we wanted to be true
as of recently, round two left me with weak knees
in fifteen minutes i'll pull through, expect that you'll see me
i learn the language of the signs
i won't fall off the edge they're pointing to
and i will learn to bide my time
when i get lost based on the map you drew
i go back and read the lines
chronology of what i did
and you?
you reminisce about the times
we said the things we wanted to be true
though i thought that we were close, a mind changes quickly
though i thought i was verbose, you didn't hear me
i learn the language of the signs
i won't fall off the edge they're pointing to
and i'm resigned to bide my time
now that i'm lost based on the map you drew
